Union Razor Company, Tideoute mark used 1902-1909 (Equivalent in Case language--Case Brothers, W. R. Case &SON)

Union Cutlery Co. Tideoute marked knives were only made 1898-to approx. 1912. (Equivalent in Case language--Case Brothers, W. R. Case & Sons)

Union Cutlery Co. with North American outline 1912-1923 (Equivalent in Case language: W. R. Case & Sons, Case Bradford PA)

Union Cutlery Co. Olean, NY 1912 first used.

OLCUT, and Keenwell also used first in the 20's.

After 1923--KA-BAR on main blade, and Union Cutlery Co. Olean, NY on either the back of the blade if a single blade, or on one of the smaller blades. These will be referred the Union mark. If I state the Union mark it means the blade will be stamped "Union Cutlery Co. Olean, NY" (Equivalent in Case Language: Case Tested)

After 1952 Union Cutlery Co. is no longer marked on the knives. (Equivalent in Case Language: XX and USA)

Kabar, USA was changed to in 1951

In the 70's a pattern number was added between the Kabar and the USA. (Equivalent in Case language: Case dots)

Lot 209 Union Cut. Co. gunboat canoe, dark bone hanldes, cleaned to near mint, 4 1/4" closed, three blades. We displayed this knife for the consignor at the Blade show this year and a dealer came up asking about it. He said he had sold it to the consingor for $1200 at the time. Lot 211 Remington R6884 four blade worked back swell center congress. "R.J. Moore" on the front handle, blades are full, and knife is near mint except for a serious dig in the pearl and a crack across the back handle. This is a knife that screams "restore me". ( 88178-sto) Minimum bid $80.00

Lot 276 Four Bulldog brand 4 blade round bolster congress knives, stag, greenbone, imitation pearl and fancy celluloid. Each is pantographed on the back of the master blade, "BD 1 of 12". All have the Fighting Bulldogs tang mark, imitation pearl is etched "Pit Bull". Fancy celluloid has some tarnish and handle shrinkage and is dated 1993 on the tang, otherwise all mint. Lot 280 Five Bulldog brand 4 blade congress knives, Solingen, Germany. Handled in Stag, green bone, genuine mother of pearl, and two fancy celluloid. All are marked on the back, "BD 1 of 12".
