Two great knives to benefit the National Knife Museum
These knives have been donated by Great Eastern Cutlery to be auctioned to the highest bidder, with all funds going to the National Knife Museum. We are donating our auction services to aid this endeavor. You winning bid should be tax-deductible. The knives will be auctioned individually.
Lot 1 Northfield marked Great Eastern Cutlery sunfish, Marked "Proto", a one of one, double pulls, with interior mastodon ivory handles. (nkm-dscn0534)

Lot 3 Case Blue Scroll stag set, issued in 1977, and usually broken up for individual sale. Patterns are, 5172ss, 5265ss, 5111 1/2ss, 5347ss, 52131ss, 52087ss, and 5233ss. A not-original-to-the-set Case pumpkin box included. All mint. (fwt-dscn0003) Minimum bid $400.00.

Lot 6 Two of the rarest ABCA Knives. One of only four patterns ever made with the Case Triple X mark, 62100 Saddlehorn, plus a 51009 Damascus Barlow, marked with the Parker USA mark, but is the only Parker marked knife ever made in the Case factory. In the original knifepak.
The patterns were selected and designed in part by me when I owned Blade Magazine. The Triple X idea was given to me by the late Paul Davis. I went to then Case owner Jim Parker and asked if I came up with an idea for a club knife could I have an exclusive on it. Parker said sure. When I told him the idea of the Triple X, he grinned, shook his head, and said, "Bruce, that's too good an idea to give you an exclusive on!". He later produced 2 or 3 patterns of the mark. Lot 8 C. R. (Corbet) Sigman sheep horn handled folder, double ground, very high quality that demonstrates why he was a legend. 4 ½" closed. (mpn85-dscn0014) Minimum bid $200.00.
Lot 9 Dennis Friedly ivory handled neck knife, scrimmed with a wolf track, and the matching ivory sheath elaborately color scrimmed. Both knife and sheath fit into a fitted leather sheath. Mint. 4 ½" oal, 2" blade. (wcc5-dscn0017, 18) Minimum bid $200.00.

Lot 11 Jim Pugh, Azle, TX guthook hunter, with leather sheath. Bear model, with cast bear head pommel and guard a case bear paw. Wood handles. Unused but sheath shows some carry use, some tarnish in the grooves of the simulated fur grooves that would take a little time and a fine, stiff brush to get back to mint.
